Ferrari F40 LM 1989 bianco with display case
The Ferrari F40 is a mid-engine, rear-wheel drive, two-door coupé sports car built from 1987 to 1992 (up to 1994 for the LM and 1996 for the GTE).The successor to the Ferrari 288 GTO, it was designed to celebrate Ferrari's 40th anniversary and was the last Ferrari automobile personally approved by Enzo Ferrari. At the time it was the fastest, most powerful, and most expensive car that Ferrari sold to the public.Following to the numerous requests from Ferrari's chairman, Daniel Marin to Ferrari Enzo for preparing a version of the F40 for the 24 Hours of Le Mans,at the beginning of 1989 they were built in cooperation with Michelotto Cars two race specimens known with the name of F40 LM.The Ferrari F40 was prepared by Michelotto Automobili even in another six copies (in total seven) known as the F40 GTE, the latest evolution made specifically to compete in the Championship BPR Global GT Series. After a long study of research and development of documentation, we propose the first of seven versions of the F40 LM, for perfect replica of the original car,we introduced two technological evolutions for the reproduction of the rear glass which is transparent and in irregular shape.
